Romania: UNICEF organizes 'Haiti. Children of Chaos' Telethon in Bucharest.
Bucharest, Jan 24 /Agerpres/ - UNICEF is organizing on Sunday, January 24, in Bucharest, a telethon 'Haiti. Children of
Chaos', destined to gathering funds for the children victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti state on Jan. 12 and for aid to their families, UNICEF Unite for Children informs in a release.

Special phone lines and bank accounts dedicated to this event will be available to those who wish to make a gesture of solidarity.

UNICEF joined to the wide international humanitarian efforts to assist the two million children affected by the earthquake. The gathered funds will add to the efforts worldwide for meeting the Haiti children special needs of food, shelter and protection.

The unprecedented drama that millions of people are going through will have a strong echo in Bucharest. The telethon will be aired live on Realitatea TV channel. AGERPRES
