Romania: Seven-county Code Orange, 30-county Code Yellow bitter frost advisory.
Bucharest, Jan 25 /Agerpres/ - The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) on Monday issued a Code Orange bitter frost advisory for seven counties in central and north-eastern Romania.

Thus, in the night of January 25 to 26, in the counties of Suceava, Botosani, Iasi, Neamt, Brasov, Harghita and Covasna the temperature is expected to sink to lows of minus 26 degrees Celsius and even less.

ANM also maintains the Code Yellow frost advisory valid between Monday, 11:00 a.m. and Wednesday, January 27, 8.00 a.m. for 29 counties located in the country east, south and center and for Bucharest city. Frosty weather will persist in these areas, especially at night and in the morning, with temperatures sinking to lows between minus 25 and minus 15 degrees Celsius during nighttime and daily highs keeping below zero.
