Romanian MEP Severin, appointed European Parliament's rapporteur for Russia.
Bucharest, Feb 9 /Agerpres/ - Romanian MEP Adrian Severin on Monday was appointed European Parliament's rapporteur for Russia, at a meeting in Strasbourg.

Severin will be in charge with drawing up a report on a partnership and cooperation agreement between the European Union and Russia.

Severin has been a deputy chairman of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats of the European Parliament (S&D) for foreign and defence policy since July 2009. January 2007 - June 2009, he was chairman of the European Parliament's delegation for relations with Ukraine. AGERPRES
