Romania: Special pensions to be recalculated five months since new law takes force - PM Boc

Bucharest, Feb 9 /Agerpres/ - The special pensions will be recalculated in five months since the future pensions law takes force, Prime Minister Emil Boc announced on Tuesday.

He reiterated all special pensions will be recalculated according to the principle of contributiveness.

'The special pensions will be recalculated according to the principle of contributiveness, with no exception whatsoever. The pension will be recalculated according to the principle of contributiveness, given that the state contributed for them for an important number of years and everybody will get the relevant pensions in keeping with the contribution they had. The special pensions will be recalculated five months since the new law takes force', the prime minister explained.

The draft pension law worked out by the Government has been modified and the Parliament is to pronounce on it. AGERPRES
