Nearly 40 Romanian localities get under water.
Bucharest, Feb 22 /Agerpres/ - Minister of Administration and Interior Vasile Blaga on Sunday evening urged the prefects and officials of the local committees having attended a meeting of the National Emergency Committee that the citizens be made a top priority in the current context of high risk for flooding.

'The main priority should be the citizens, and, please, take all the necessary measures to reduce the flood sufferings to a minimum,' said Blaga.

He mentioned that 39 localities have so far got under water and 11 national roads in the counties of Buzau, Dambovita, Valcea, Prahova, Arad, Bistrita Nasaud, Braila, Olt, Botosani, Giurgiu and Teleorman, and power services are down in seven other localities. AGERPRES
