Fencing: Romania's women's épée team ranks third in Saint Maur.
Paris, Feb 22 /Agerpres/ - Romania's women's épée team ranked third at the World Cup contest in Saint Maur, France, after defeating Italy 34-33 in the small finals.

Romania's team (Anca Maroiu, Iuliana Maceseanu, Loredana Iordachioiu) defeated Colombia 45-28 in the eight-finals, France 45-38 in the quarter final, and was defeated by Germany 39-44 in the semi-finals, which lost in the finals to Poland 31-30.

In the men's foil competition held in Venice, Romania's team (Radu Daraban, Virgil Saliscan, Alexandru Daniel Diaconu) ranked sixteen. AGERPRES
