Bucharest, Feb 28 /Agerpres/ - The National Institute of Hydrology and Waters Management in Bucharest issued a hydrological warning against increased rivers flows and floods. The warning is valid for the Danube basin, downstream the Iron Gates Hydro Power System, over 6 a.m. on Feb. 28 till 6 a.m (local time) March 6. Thus, a yellow code has been enforced starting 6.a.m. Feb 28, on the Danube, Gruia-Zimnnicea sector (in counties Mehedinti, Dolj, Olt and Teleorman - south-west and south) and the yellow code continues on the Danube, at Cernavoda, Constanta County (south-east) and Isaccea, in Tulcea County (east). Likewise, a yellow code is enforced starting 6 a.m on March 1 in the Giurgiu - Baraila segment of the Danube, namely in countries such as Giurgiu, Calarasi, Ialomita (all in southern Romania), Constanta, Braila and Tulcea (east).
