Romania: Natural gas demand estimated at 17.568 million MWh, in March.
Bucharest, March 2 /Agerpres/ - Total natural gas demand in March is estimated at more than 17.568 million MWh, eight percent lower than the estimated one in February, according to the report drawn up by Transgaz and forwarded to the Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority - ANRE.

This gas quantity could be covered by home production in a proportion of 57.20 percent and from import - 42.80 percent.

Demand on the captive market is estimated at 6.8 million MWh, of which 4.216 million MWh for household consumers.

Demand on the eligible consumer market is predicted at 5.838 million MWh, and the one on the interruptible energy consumer market at 3.436 million MWh. Technological consumption is estimated at 1.5 million MWh.

Extraction programme in March provides a quantity of 4.197 million MWh. AGERPRES
