Bucharest, March 7 /Agerpres/ - On Sunday morning, at Joseni, Harghita County (central Romania), it was minus 21 degrees Celsius. Meteorologist on duty at the Miercurea Ciuc weather station Karoly Tanko said that this value was registered at 6:30 am, after the temperature started increasing slightly. In the other places in Harghita County it was very cold too. The thickest layer of snow in Harghita was at Bucin, 75 cm. These values are quite common in Harghita County, an area where winters are long and bitterly cold.
