Code Yellow advisory of snowfalls and blizzard in southern Romania.
Bucharest, March 8 /Agerpres/ - The National Weather Forecast Administration (ANM) on Monday morning issued a new code yellow advisory of wind strengthening, snowfalls and blizzard, valid from Monday, 6:00 pm, to Tuesday night, 9:00 pm.
According to ANM, throughout this period, in southern Oltenia (southern Romania), southern and eastern Muntenia (southern Romania) and in Dobrogea (south-eastern Romania), the wind strengthening will be associated with snowfalls, which will temporarily be swept and a new snow layer will be formed.
At the beginning of the period, on the Black Sea shore (south-eastern Romania), precipitation will also take the form of sleet or rain and glaze will form.
In southern and south-eastern Romania, wind strengthening will be registered starting on Monday, at noon, at speeds that will reach and exceed, in gusts, 65-70 km/h. AGERPRES
